About the Author

Jakky Bankong-Obi is from Kakwe-Beebo, a village on the corridors of the Cross River Rainforest in southeastern Nigeria. Bankong-Obi is a Co-Editor at Icefloe Press, a Canadian small press and works as a Media Consultant in Abuja, Nigeria. Her work has appeared and is forthcoming in London Grip, Kalahari Review, Reliquiae Journal, Pidgeonholes, Zarf Poetry, Gutter Magazine, The Poetry Review, Memento: An Anthology of Contemporary Nigerian Poetry and others.
