My Divine Direction tells the incredible story of a young man’s journey, by land, from Nigeria to Europe. Born in Lagos, Ese Oduko was sent to Kirikiri prison when he was 16 for a crime his brother committed. In a crowded cell with 48 other men, he promised himself that if he ever got out, he would find his way to Europe and make a living from his talent – playing football. As soon as he was released, Ese started his journey. Still just a child, he navigated the unrelenting danger and precarity of life as an illegal immigrant on the move. He traveled through Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso, Niger, Ghana, and Mali, sleeping rough, finding work in restaurants and barbershops, but continuing to play and practice football wherever he went. Through his faith in God, his determination, and the life-changing kindness of the people he met along the way, Ese made it to Europe. He played for clubs in France, Malta, and Italy before moving into management and coaching in the UK. After becoming a pastor in 2008, Ese felt God calling him to return to Nigeria to do His work. He established a football academy there to help underprivileged and homeless children and is about to launch a new youth project in collaboration with the Nigerian government.

  • BamBam’s Surprise

BamBam wants a pet. She is not sure which animal is best for her. She tries to think of many animals but sees reasons why they all can’t fit. She decides to leave it to Jesus to give her the best.

    BamBam’s Surprise

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 It is imperative for every Christian to understand spiritual warfare and to know the weapons God has provided us with. This inspired, instructive, challenging, and encouraging book will help build the reader up and show how – in the Lord – we are more than conquerors. God has given us armor for protection and weapons for use in attack so that we might know His victory against the enemy.

Francis Wale Oke outlines these weapons and defences: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. He shows us how to go out in victory with our feet fitted with the Gospel of peace and in the prayer of the Spirit.

  • I Am Possible

This is not a self-help book. Popular as self-help and some motivational materials may be, many still feel shut out by an invisible barrier that prevents them from reaching their full potentials.

“I AM POSSIBLE” is in every way a God-help book that explores the foundation on which Christianity is built – Faith. It is through faith that we can shed all earthly inhibitions, leap over obstacles and become all God created us to be. For with God, all things are possible!.

    I Am Possible

    Are you tethered?

This is a book like no other, it invites you to embark on a 40-day transformational journey of confronting tethers, known and unknown that could be limiting you. The author draws you in with her witty, endearingly vulnerable style of storytelling as she explores themes of identity, faith, relationships, healing from the heartaches of life, living purposefully, and more.

Each chapter tackles a tether and coaches you in crafting your own strategies as you reflect and journal so you can be intentional about your journey to breaking free. Untethered would inspire, encourage and challenge you to break free, experience healing and wholeness so you can become all that God intended for you to be.

The book is an effort to provide further evidence that God is true to His word as Mercy Said No to the angel of death even as the author’s heart stopped beating twice while he was in a coma but resumed on both occasions without any medical intervention. The story is therefore a personal account of surviving critical covid-19 and a conviction that faith in God and prayer was a major part of how and why.

  • Kasie: Loss, Love & Life

Kasie is an Igbo word that means “be comforted”. This best explains the central theme of this book. Somehow, life and providence comfort us. The book is divided into three parts. It starts with an introduction written in the form of letters. They speak of pain and the quest for answers. Titled, ‘Flashes of Pain’, it is more about the tortured soul of a grieving dad. It captures my struggles and feelings for my daughter. Part two is titled, ‘Love’ and contains my thoughts and words about love and the many ways it manifested in my life. Part three, ‘Utopia’, contains poems related to my views on life and what life means to me. It tells the story of my life with my kids. Some of the works here are just words. They may not fit the tag of poetry but they are my unvarnished words in their rawest form. I decided to do this collection for two reasons – I do not ever want the world to forget my daughter. In these words, here, I celebrate her short life. I celebrate my love for her and the joy she brought to my heart. The second reason is that I hope that by reading this book, it may comfort those going through pain and help others to understand the pain of loss, especially the loss of a child. The biggest pain of loss is the loneliness you feel in the midst of a crowd because they cannot contemplate what you are going through. I am also hoping that the life lessons that I share, may find home in some other hearts.
