About the Author

‘They Killed Ahmet’ is Ikenna Okeh’s second novel set in Turkiye – after ‘Whatever Happens in Antalya’ – and the first in the Fatma Özdemir crime novella series. His books have been cited in a number of academic journals and are listed in the Nordic Africa Institute library, Sweden, and in public libraries across Europe. He is represented by Germany-based Wanderlust Literary Agency and Hungary-based Katalin Mund Literary Agency.

Ikenna Okeh is a co-founder of UbuntuFM, a music promotion platform and online radio station based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He spends his time between Turkiye, Mexico, and Nigeria.
