About the Author
Victoria is a Seasoned Business Executive and Chartered Accountant. She wears multiple hats as a career professional, an entrepreneur and social-preneur.
She is the CEO of TVC Communications and the founder of Nigeria’s first multi-store and electronic gift card company, Emerald Cards Solutions and she also founded Women Inclusive Boardroom Africa, WIBA, a social enterprise that seeks to develop a pipeline of women ready to take on boardroom positions. What’s more, she is also the founder and chair of Accounting Women’s Network Nigeria (ACCA WNN).
She is an elected member of the Global Governing Council of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and she also serves on the Board of a gender finance and impact investment Fintech. She is a member of the Institute of Directors and The Society for Corporate Governance, Nigeria. She has also been recognised as one of the Top 50 Women in Accounting globally & listed as one of the Top 100 Career Women in Nigeria.
Victoria is a gender equality proponent and staunch advocate for women’s leadership. Her desire to see women rise to the uppermost echelons of their careers led to the establishment of the Accounting Women’s Network, where she is actively involved in encouraging, engaging, and equipping women to develop their capacity for executive and strategic leadership. She is a mentor to many women aspiring to have a career in finance through a structured mentoring programme within her network. She is also a financial literacy champion and an ardent promoter of financial inclusion, thus she relishes any opportunity to sensitize and educate individuals and staff of organisations on personal finance and how to create multiple streams of income.
Victoria has an MBA from IESE Business School, Spain, a Master’s in Financial Management from Liverpool John Moores University, U.K. and a BSc.(Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University. She is also an alumnus of; executive programmes at Cambridge Judge Business School & Harvard Business School.
She is happily married to Adedayo Ajayi with two children, Empress and Ethan, and lives in Lagos, Nigeria.
