About the Author

Dr. Ayodele Oni is an Experienced commercial lawyer and has dedicated the last 18 years to providing legal counsel for numerous oil and gas industry transactions. He has recently focused on upstream, midstream and downstream gas transactions, given the increasing prominence of natural gas. Dr Ayodele Oni has been advising both the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission and the Upstream Petroleum Companies on matters related to the Petroleum Industry Act.

Dr Oni’s experience extends beyond just advising on transactions, he shares his knowledge by teaching energy law and policy, energy economics and regulatory capture at the Centre for Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law at the University of Ibadan.
