My heart bled and my soul was in turmoil until I put my pen to paper.

Only if you look in the mirror is the first poetic tale which consists of poetry, prose, and prose poetry. It was written over the course of seven years, I never intended it to tell a story but the words birth themselves and decided to tell a story.

Only if you look in the mirror tells a story of one soul’s journey through the valley of the dark shadows of love, hurt, infatuation, sin, forgiveness, dalliance, temptation, redemption, and finding the light at the end of the tunnel.
