About the Author

Ndidi Chiazor-Enenmor holds a Master of Arts in English Literature. She has numerous children’s books to her credit. They include A Hero’s Welcome, which made the first shortlist of the Nigeria Prize for Literature (2019), and One Little Mosquito which won the ANA Prize for Children’s Literature in 2009. Other children’s books by her include Mina and the Birthday Dress, Timi and the Barber, and Stories of Our Land. Timi and the Barber was originally written for the Nal’ibali Children’s Stories Project, Cape Town, and has been translated into several African languages.

She has also written short stories, plays, and novels. One of her short stories, ‘Oso Ochu’ was published in Wings of Dawn, an anthology of works by Nigerian female writers; a project supported by the British Council in 2006. Her novel, If They Tell the Story won the ANA Prose Prize, 2022.
