About the author.

Ndidi Chiazor-Enenmor (née Nwankwo) is a versatile and prolific writer. She displays her mastery of prose in her debut novel If they Tell the Story, published in 2020. Her short story, Oso Ochu, featured in Wings of Dawn, an anthology of New Writing by Nigerian Women (2006). The anthology was published by the British Council, Nigeria, in collaboration with Women Writers of Nigeria (WRITA), Lagos. Her best-selling children’s book, A Hero’s Welcome, made the first shortlist of the Nigeria Prize for Literature, 2019. Her earlier book, One Little Mosquito, published in 2008 won the Association of Nigeria Authors prize for children’s writing, 2009. Her story, Timi and the Barber, featured in the Nal’ibali radio program in Cape Town. It has also been translated into several African languages. Ndidi was a participant of the 2017 edition of the Book Dash workshop in Johannesburg, South Africa. For Ndidi, writing stories is an amazing world of raw talent and endless discovery. She constantly seeks opportunities to write more beautiful stories. Prose remains her preferred choice of creative expression. Ndidi holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree, (Library Science/English) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Post Graduate Diploma in English from the University of Lagos. Ndidi lives in Lagos, Nigeria, where she runs various workshops to promote reading and literacy.
