About the Author
Born in 1984, Sophie Bouillon is a writer and a journalist. She spent most of her career reporting from Africa. At 24 years old, she became the youngest winner of the Albert Londres Prize, the equivalent of the Pulitzer in France, awarding the best journalist of the year. She came to Lagos for the 1st time in 2014 and worked for 5 years as the deputy bureau chief at Agence France-Presse. She is now working for RFI Hausa. Manuwa Street is her 3rd book.
