About the Author
Hader Otaki is from Nasarawa State of Nigeria, but was born and raised in Lagos. He is a poet and spoken word performer with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Lagos. This is his first book, and he is hoping this will be a career path for him. Hader’s poetry romanticizes the political culture, racism, erotica, and death; all these are illuminated in his art. He enjoys open mic stage and spoken word poetry events, where he shares his words with the enthusiastic audience. He has performed at the Abuja Literary Society open mics, WorthWordng (An Islamic Poetry Event), and other poetry platforms across the city of Abuja. He is a partner with Nasara Creative Consult, a literary platform in Nasarawa state that supports budding talents in the state, and one of the organizers of the Lafia Literary Series. He presently resides in Abuja, and he is a social media buff.
