The Water School

Big things are happening in Lagos. The government is on a mission to transform the city into a prosperous urban centre. But not all parts of the city can benefit from this as a water community called Makoko is left behind. As if this isn’t enough, the government sends armed men to demolish Makoko. A protest erupts, calling for justice for Makoko. But Kunle Adeyemi knows there will be no justice without action. He decides to show the government what true change means. Kunle has a dream to build a school in Makoko, but he has to figure out how to build a school on water. The Water School is more than a structure: it’s a window offering the government a fresh look at Makoko.
