About the Author
Aanuoluwapo Ruth Akingbemi is a Christian writer and artist. She grew up in a Christian home, where she was taught the word of God and went to church weekly. She encountered God personally on an Easter night in her bedroom at the age of 18 and made a decision to rededicate her life to Him. Aanuoluwapo’s testimony is one of how God can take a broken girl and mend her heart and renew her mind. She has experienced God deliver her soul from assault and identity distortions.
As a young adult woman, she has a passion to see other young women and girls receive the deliverance and restoration they seek. She is passionate about education, public service and advocacy. She desires to see her generation saved and brought into the kingdom of God’s dear son. She desires to see people changed, healed, delivered and free by the blood of the Lamb. At the age of 10, she began writing, and she has been doing so for over a decade. She enjoys writing poetry, novels and now, a devotional.
This devotional, ‘THIS BLISSFUL PLACE,’ is an assignment from the Holy Spirit, with the aim of reaching young adult women and ladies around the world to serve as an added resource for them in their journey with the Lord. Aside from writing, she enjoys drawing, painting, pottery-making, reading and going on walks.
