About the Author
Ozioma Okafor is a writer who believes that words carry power enough to heal and she wields this power through her writings which she shares via books, newsletters and on social media.
Her poems and essays explore themes of healing, hope and living fully. She aims to let her readers feel seen and be reminded that they are not alone.
In 2021, she published her debut poetry collection titled ‘The Girl with the slouched shoulder’ on identity, body image and insecurities.
In 2024, she published her second poetry collection titled ‘The road to healing is not linear’ speaking to the soul on emotions such as fear, hope, love, joy, kindness to self, depression etc.
She is a chartered accountant, an educationist and a mental health enthusiast.
Her goal is to live fully and die empty, impacting lives with her gift, and making the giver proud.
She finds solace in journaling, reading, spending time with the people she loves, eating amazing food and watching the sunset.
