About the Author
Dr. Daniel A. Adegoke is an accomplished academic emergency physician, mental wellness advocate, and author. He began his medical journey at the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where he earned his degree in Medicine. Driven by a passion for evidence-based practice, Dr. Adegoke pursued a Master’s degree in Evidence-Based Health Care at the renowned University of Oxford, further honing his expertise in critical appraisal and clinical decision-making.
Currently, Dr. Adegoke is in his 5th year of Emergency Medicine training at NHSE Education KSS, where he continues to develop advanced skills in acute and critical care. Alongside his clinical training, he is pursuing a PhD in Trauma Sciences at the Centre for Trauma Sciences, Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University of London. His doctoral research focuses on mitigating ischemic injury in trauma haemorrhagic shock, exploring innovative strategies to improve outcomes for critically injured patients. This work aligns with his broader academic interest in advancing the science of trauma care and reducing mortality and morbidity from life-threatening injuries.
