Brief Profile of the Author
Koko Kalango was born to a Nigerian father and a Jamaican mother. She is the founder of the Rainbow Book Club whose work in promoting reading, particularly amongst young people, was instrumental in Port Harcourt being World Book Capital 2014. For this honour brought to Nigeria, Koko received a national award.
Koko has a Bachelors in French from the University of Benin and a Masters in International Relations and Strategic Studies from Lancaster University. She is the author of the Colours of Life devotional, writes the Colours of Life column in This Day Style magazine and hosts the Colours of Life show. Koko has lived in the United Kingdom, and the United States and now resides in Nigeria with her husband, ‘Ranyam. Together they have a daughter and a son. She can be reached at kokokalango.com
