Passionate about empowering African women and girls, she wrote Nigeria’s First Women: 61 Game-Changing Female Pioneers Who Contributed to Positive Social Change to spread the rich history and culture of Africa and the legacy of African women who have made incredible contributions to communities across the globe. By sharing these women’s stories, giving them the recognition they deserve, Oniru hopes to unite and inspire women everywhere.
As founder of the KO Women Leadership Academy, Oniru provides special events, workshops, women-to-women mentorship classes, and a community where women can come together to learn, engage, connect, and be inspired to do more and achieve more.
