About the Author

Segun Akinlolu was born in Ibadan, Nigeria, in 1968. He earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at the University of Ibadan in 1992 and worked in that field for 8 years before becoming a full-time artist. Under Beautiful Nubia, his famous moniker, he has produced over 40 music albums. He is also the author of several volumes of poetry, fiction and non-fiction.
