This book is for anyone who has been experiencing pain that they can’t understand or anyone going through loss that has taken a hold of their hearts and anyone experiencing fears and anxieties as a result of trauma. This book is also for anyone who wants to understand the reason for the tribulations or the adversities in their lives or anyone who just wants to be prepared ahead because we will experience different types of trials but being prepared before then is ever so important, after all the best time to prepare for war is in the time of peace.
This book is divided into three parts;
Part 1 (The Pain) documents the series of negative experiences she had and how she saw God bring comfort and succour to her in different ways in the midst of it.
Part 2 (The Proving) is an expression of how the different unpleasant experiences we have are most times designed to bring out the best in us, through the trying of our faith which then purifies our perspectives and brings us to a place of elevated sight.
Part 3 (The Purpose) concludes with the purpose of the pain which ultimately is for us to become like Christ. Kemi Fred – Adetiba reminds readers that there may be hidden struggles they do not even realize could be obstacles to their ‘Becoming’ and they must rely on and trust in God to reveal them because through revelation you can come into the truth of who you are.
Each part ends with journal promptings and reflections that would be a guide to the reader to help them ponder on their interactions with God as they read through and reflect on their own experiences through the lens provided by the experiences of the author.
In this book, you will learn what it means:
- To see purpose in your pain
- To Trust, discern and see God in all circumstances of life
- To allow God to restore you to wholeness
