About the Author
Lawal Olusola Lawal is a seasoned expert in oil palm farming with nearly a decade of experience as an establishment and management consultant in the industry. He began his career as a research assistant with the Nigeria Institute for Oil Palm Research (NIFOR) and has served as an Agricultural Officer with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture’s Department of Agricultural Extension Service in Abuja since 2018.
A graduate of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development from the University of Ilorin, Lawal went on to earn a Master’s degree in Resource Utilization and Plant Protection from China Agricultural University, Beijing. His deep commitment to advancing oil palm farming practices led him to create a popular YouTube channel, where about 10,000 subscribers follow his guidance on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in oil palm farming.
Passionate about empowering others, Lawal’s work stands as a testament to his dedication to sustainable agriculture and wealth creation through oil palm farming in Nigeria. He is a Prince from the Olaoye ruling family in Ogbomoso. He’s happily married and lives in Abuja, Nigeria.
