About the Author

Solomon Elohor Abe is a Nigerian-born photographer, legal practitioner, creative director, and educator whose multidisciplinary career spans over 15 years. As the founder and creative force behind AFE Studios and The Creators’ Lounge, he has carved a niche for himself in Africa’s creative industry through his timeless imagery, thought leadership, and commitment to nurturing
emerging talents.

Solomon’s journey began with a camera in one hand and purpose in his heart. While studying law at University of The Gambia, he discovered photography as both an expressive outlet and a professional calling. Today, he seamlessly blends his understanding of law, art, and storytelling, using his unique perspective to tell stories that are authentic, dignified, and deeply human.

A proud alumnus of NiPHEC (Nigerian Photography Expo & Conference), Solomon has not only been a participant but also a facilitator and mentor at the prestigious gathering of photography professionals. His sessions are known for being practical, inspiring, and deeply rooted in real-world experience.

Beyond Nigeria, Solomon has worked on international projects, most notably in The Gambia, where he collaborated with local creatives, NGOs, and media organizations to execute storytelling projects that shine light on underrepresented communities and causes.

In 2024, he was appointed National Youth Ambassador to South Africa, an honor that speaks to his leadership, advocacy, and unwavering dedication to youth empowerment through creativity and entrepreneurship.
