About the Author

Megan Rose Bowes-Lion Olusanya was born in Kingston, the Caribbean Island of Jamaica, and currently lives in Lagos, Nigeria, West Africa where she has been residing for the past 59 years. She is a professional nurse and midwife. She also has a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. Her years of experience spans over 60 years, having been employed in Jamaica, Canada, England, and Nigeria.

Her marriage to a Nigerian in 1963 whom she met in Canada, enabled her to visit many countries, exposing her to many cultures, and enabling her to gain a lot of fascinating experiences, both professional and personal. These experiences assisted her in finding her roots in the Fatherland – Nigeria.

Her specialty is Stress Management. She has presented many professional papers at International Congresses of the International Commission on Occupational Health and Safety (ICOHS). She is a member, of the Scientific Committee on Occupational Health Nursing and an Emeritus member, ICOH, and other Associations in Nigeria.
