The name M.T. Mbu is synonymous with dedication, transparency, accountability, and honesty. In Nigeria today, I cannot think of someone else who will engender greater respect or affection across ethnic nationalities and ideological barriers. He had a brilliant intellect and clarity of thought and expression. He was very diligent and self-disciplined. He exhibited the highest integrity and honesty in his conduct when in official or personal dealings. He demonstrated fairness and straightforwardness in dealing with others and great loyalty and dedication to friends.
