Fabian AJOGWU, OFR (Abbi, Nigeria, 1970) is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Lagos Business School Professor of Corporate Governance. An Alumnus of Lagos Business School and Said Business School of Oxford University, Professor Ajogwu holds a PhD in Law from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland; an MBA from the IESE Business School, Barcelona; and Law degrees from the University of Nigeria and the University of Lagos. He is a Senior Partner at Kenna Partners and has honorary Counsel to the Republic of South Africa in Nigeria. He founded the AIFA Reading Society and the Society for Corporate Governance. He co-founded the Society for Art Collection and serves on the board of the Y Shyllon Museum of Art at the Pan-Atlantic University. He was appointed with the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic by the President of Nigeria. He authored and co-authored several authoritative works, including Law & Society, Corporate Governance in Nigeria: Law and Practice, and Collecting Art: A Handbook, which he co-authored with Dr. Jess Castellote.
Jess CASTELLOTE (Zaragoza, Spain, 1956) has been working in Nigeria since 1984. He holds a master’s degree in architecture (UPV, Valencia) and a doctoral degree in Art History (UNED, Madrid). He currently serves as the Director of the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art (YSMA) of Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos. He is also a founding member of the Society for Art Collection. He acts as an independent art advisor on art matters to private and corporate bodies. He has made significant contributions to the field of Nigerian Art, having authored, co-authored, or edited five books on the subject, including his latest work, Collecting Art, co-authored with Professor Fabian Ajogwu, OFR, SAN. He combines his professional work with an intense involvement in several not-for-profit organisations dedicated to advancing development and educational initiatives within the country.
