I wished that early in my career someone created or pointed me to a model like the career life cycle model which is in the core of this book and its essential reference point. What this book is therefore set to do is in sharing what I thought I missed, give a helicopter view of what the typical career looks like. In
doing so, pointing out the critical tools along the path, helping the reader take charge of their journey early on. For readers whose careers are already in motion, they should locate themselves in the model and figure out what may be amiss with a view to correction and thereby improving their career prospects. In
summary, this book, appropriately titled career navigator is a map and as with maps, you make your way to your desired destination or if you are lost currently you by it, find your way out. children.
