About the Author
Namse Udosen is an accomplished educator and creative writer, known for his innovative approaches to engaging young learners. His expertise lies in employing storytelling and critical pedagogy to foster inclusive education. Namse has authored several works, including “Africanado Adventures” and “Fundamental Etiquette for Young Nigerians,” which reflect his commitment to cultural and educational development.
In addition to his writing, Namse has initiated various educational programs such as Bookathon, puppet shows, Read-A-Create, and storytelling sessions, all designed to support inclusive education. His dedication to enhancing learning experiences extends beyond Nigeria, as he has led writing workshops both locally and in the United Kingdom.
Namse is the founder of the Tanar Educational Development Foundation, an organization focused on improving educational outcomes in marginalized communities through critical pedagogy. His work emphasizes the importance of empowering students to critique their world and develop a critical consciousness, in line with the principles of critical pedagogy. Namse is a memeber of the Association of Children’s Authors and Illustrators of Nigeria. He is a 2023/24 Chevening scholar at the University of Sussex.
