The Child Rights Law aims to uphold and protect the rights of children. The Criminal Law of Lagos State addresses various forms of crime, including those that disproportionately affect women and children, such as domestic violence, sexual offences and trafficking. This collection comprises the Criminal Law and the Child Rights Law of Lagos State, which has been simplified to focus on laws related to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence. By developing an abridged and more navigable version of these laws, we aim to enhance legal literacy among stakeholders, including survivors, advocates and social workers, law enforcement agencies, legal practitioners, students and for academic/research purposes.
