50 Years A Briton

50 Years A Briton – On a date now forgotten in November 1969, a young boy, then aged seven, was put on board a British Overseas Airways Corporation (‘BOAC’) flight that was departing Lagos for London at 09.45 hours. This was the beginning of a fifty-year journey through the land of the imperial Pharaoh to understand the world and Africa’s plight.
This autobiographical account lifts the veil on much that we have taken for granted. It takes us through the inner workings of the highest strata of the English legal profession and into British social and political affairs. By its end, we can understand how Nelson Mandela was labelled a terrorist by the same British Prime Minister who bestowed a knighthood on Robert Mugabe.
