Idy attempts to demystify the myths surrounding these meals as ‘love potions’, and in some cases ends up affirming them to be so! It is also an effort aimed at preventing certain meals from becoming extinct because people hardly prepare them, especially those that are time consuming and involve a lot of processes in their preparations. Finally, it is a documentation of an extremely rich food culture which has been long overdue.

She is a graduate of Philosophy from University of Lagos and of the Executive program of Enterprise Development Centre, Pan Atlantic University, Lagos.
