Strategic Facilities Management (SFM) guides & optimizes all facility maintenance operations towards maintaining a facility in an optimum condition throughout it’s life span. SFM provides professionals with a means to enhance revenue streams by increasing the range of services offered beyond the construction phase of buildings. This book provides a framework for developing a Facility Maintenance Management Plan. The Facility Maintenance Management Plan (FMMP) is the outcome of the SFM. The FMMP forecasts the maintenance needs of facilities; establishes the standards of operations required; schedules the activities; and outlines and allocates the various resources required for executing operations. This book provides a framework for developing the FMMP by identifying the components of the plan and systematically outlining the procedures involved.
