About the Author
Deji Adebusoye is the author of Scaling for Success: Empowering African SMEs and a Partner at Sahel Capital, where he manages investments for funds like the Fund for Agriculture Financing in Nigeria (FAFIN) and the Social Enterprise Fund for Agriculture in Africa (SEFAA), focusing on agribusinesses that benefit smallholder farmers across Sub-Saharan Africa. He also serves on the board of a portfolio company and advises startups and SMEs, drawing on his previous experience in senior roles at Syngenta and Procter & Gamble. An AAII and CALA Fellow, He holds a first-class degree in chemical engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University and an MBA from INSEAD. Outside of work, he is a devoted husband and father who enjoys travelling and the outdoors.
