Prayer Journal: What God Cannot Do Does Not Exist

In several places in the scriptures, we are encouraged to pray. This is because prayer is not just a means by which we ask and receive from God, it is also a beautiful way we build a loving, intimate, and experiential relationship with God. The Lord Jesus Christ, Our Saviour, emphasized the need for us to be relentless in the place of prayer (Luke 18:1) because it is the medium through which we connect to heaven from earth.

God’s commitment to us, His children, is that He will always be with us (Matthew 28:20B) and He lives in us by His Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14-17). This is what makes prayer a wonderful experience. Because of the lovingkindness of our God, and how much He longs for us (John 17:3), He wants us to pray to Him anywhere, anytime, in every situation, believing that what He cannot do does not exist (Hebrews 11:6, 1 John 5:14-15).

God wants to hear your voice. This is why this journal should be so important to you (as it is to me). You can write down your prayers and also list out your points of thanksgiving. As you pray about everything, always remember to watch with thanksgiving (Colossians 4:2).

I submit this journal to you with my heartfelt prayer that you find God always on your journey and that you will enjoy the blessings of praying to Him about all things, at all times. This journal is hopefully supposed to be a personal diary of God’s faithfulness, goodness, and commitment to you; until you fully understand that what He cannot do does not exist.
