About the author.

Chioma is an Author and entrepreneur, passionate about Sustainability and Entrepreneurship, as key ingredients to solving global problems. She’s the Founder and Creative Director of Redbutton, a sustainable fashion company fusing ecofriendly materials, and art from all over the world to create statement female apparel. Her work with Redbutton has been featured on major platforms including the 4th United Nations Environment Assembly, at the launch of the UN Alliance for Sustainable Fashion, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia, Vogue, Elle, CNN Africa, International Creative Industries Forum Moscow, etc.

She Co-founded The Pitch Centre in 2019, a full-service startup consulting company to give back to startup founders, helping them articulate their value, and access growth opportunities. She has spoken at several international platforms and trained thousands of founders across the world, many of whom have accessed funding and other accelerators for their startups. She’s also a mentor with the Creative Business Academy Americas, Africa and Europe. To mark Africa Day 2021.

Chioma was named one of ‘50 Entrepreneurs to Connect with in Africa’ by the Tony Elumelu Foundation, an initiative to project outstanding entrepreneurs whose businesses are making positive impact across Africa. Chioma is the African Prize Winner of Global Creative Business Cup Copenhagen 2019, National Winner of Creative Business Cup Nigeria 2019, Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneur, amongst a myriad of awards and recognition.
