My interest in the world beyond my borders and the unity of universality actually stemmed years ago from holiday trips with my family—but only deepened when my children grew up and left home to study abroad. Few things can compare to the beauty of travelling, yet the excitement of leaving one’s homeland for another varies with many factors.
