Philip Akoda is a Nigerian entrepreneur, lexicographer and multi-published author. He is the Founder & CEO of Nkanda (formerly The African Languages Project), an award-winning EdTech startup backed by Imminent and the Mastercard Foundation. Nkanda is at the forefront of preserving and digitising African languages and cultural heritage, and in recognition of this impact, the company received the Association of Language Companies in Africa (ALCA) Award for Outstanding Contribution to African Languages.
