About the Author

Widowed at 32, Ayodele writes about her journey through the darkest time of her life, and how she found her way back to the light. She got inspired to turn her pain into purpose to help people walking this path take an easier route to live again.

Ayodele spends her daytime managing global business brands as a seasoned award-winning corporate communications professional. With a degree in Communications and another in Business Management, Ayodele’s extensive working experience covers varied roles across geographies.

Through her spirited personality, and creative mind, as well as her writing and public speaking skills, Ayodele has transformed the public’s perception and reputation for multiple corporate brands and has helped develop guidelines and strategy documents for several projects within and outside the organization for which she works. This and many other personal and career accomplishments have earned her a number of awards and recognition over the years, including her selection in 9to5Chick’s 2022 top 100 leading career women in Nigeria. She was also selected as the Most Valuable Outstanding Indigenous Perception Manager Of The Year (female) at the 11th edition of the Young Achievers Nigeria Awards.

Ayodele is an alumnus of Covenant University and the prestigious University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is passionate about life, people and leaving a positive impact, and she brings this to bear in all her interactions. Ayodele loves to write poetry, prose and songs, and she shares this artistic side through her blog.
