About the Author
Squadron Leader Alexander Emmanuel PhD. is an accomplished Air Force officer, a strategist, an academic, a peace and security expert, a Chevening alumnus and the Winner of the 2018 USAID Hackathon on Counter Violent Extremism. His writing is inspired by his experiences in conflict zones, his passion for promoting peace and justice and his deep understanding of the complexities of human nature and societal dynamics.
Alexander has published four books, including Scarlet, Omo, and The Diary of a Boy Soldier (all published by Purple Shelves).
