About the author.
Oluwabusola is an enabler who is passionate about deploying innovation and design thinking as problem-solving tools to harness the economic potential of individuals and companies. She emphasizes the need to start from an empathy standpoint in solving grand challenges. She has experience interfacing with startups and education stakeholders. She founded Steering for Greatness Foundation, a youth-led NGO with the goal of providing relevant education for African teens, children, and teachers by introducing them to design thinking and experiential learning practices.
Through her foundation, she instituted a Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Technology Boot Camp where teenagers receive training on 21st-century skills and vocational training, servant leadership, advocacy, coding, etc. The Boot Camp has directly impacted 250 teenagers and 1500 indirectly leveraging technology. Some participants have gone on to choose entrepreneurship as a career path.
Oluwabusola also initiated a Future Readiness Tour and a Teachers training program that has empowered 2000 Secondary School Students and 200 teachers, respectively. In response to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, she also initiated the Future of Work Summit, with attendees and speakers from over ten countries. She is an enthusiastic, innovative economist cum educator. She is also a co-founder at Yetar Virtual CFOs Limited, where she leads operations in tax, accounting and business advisory for SMEs.
