About the Author
Born in Nigeria in 1943, he has his grooming as a Chartered Accountant working for Messrs Peat Marwick C.E & Co, Lagos for nine years. Before then, he graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons.) at the university of Lagos in 1967, and subsequently became member (associate) of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ACMA), (U.K), (fellow) of the Chartered Association of Certified Corporate Accountants (UK) (FCCA) and (fellow) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA).
He set up a private business but quit after two years to join public service as the Deputy Director (finance and administration) of the National Provident Fund, quitting after three years, he then set up his own professional practice in Lagos where he remained for another thirty-five years.
He had a stint in party politics, vying for elective position in the National Republican Convention in 1987.
He is a Christian, married with children. He was invested a Knight of Saint Sylvester the Pope in 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI.
He now resides in the United States.
