About the Author

Ope Akinbo is a multidisciplinary designer with over a decade of experience in branding, editorial design, product design, and more. Frustrated by the lack of high-quality notepads in the Nigerian market, he embarked on a mission to create Culhins—a brand that not only met his personal standards but also served the needs of others who value thought preservation.

Based in Lagos, Nigeria, Ope is passionate about solving complex problems with simple, efficient solutions that benefit all. A lifelong learner and avid reader, he continuously seeks knowledge to refine his craft and broaden his perspective.

An Electrical Engineering graduate from the University of Lagos and an Alumnus of the Kimoyo Design Fellowship, Ope’s curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving mindset drive him to create products that empower people to capture and elevate their ideas. Through Culhins, he is shaping a future where every thought finds a worthy home.
