Twenty years after Ogonna broke Nonso’s heart, their paths cross again— only this time, she’s the one desperate for a second chance. At first, he relishes the reversal, the beautiful woman who once shattered him now wanting to win him back. But soon, he falls for her all over again. Three years into their renewed relationship, after struggling with the past hurts and current disappointments that have kept him from releasing his heart to her, he’s finally ready to risk it again—for her. Until it blows up in his face. Again.
Two decades after graduation, Zinna is just as popular as she was in high school. With a thriving career and a boyfriend who checks every box, she’s convinced a proposal is on the horizon. But beneath the surface of their picture-perfect relationship lies something darker.
Though Nonso and Zinna were once inseparable as teenagers, a bitter fall-out has pitched them apart for decades. Their animosity deepens over the years, until a high-stakes business deal forces them together. Tension simmers, but so does the echo of a once-powerful friendship…and the stirrings of something even more complicated.
As their respective challenges bring them closer, Nonso and Zina must confront not just their past but the fragile, unexpected bond now growing between them. What starts as a tentative truce becomes a rekindled friendship…and then something far more intense.
But as ghosts from the past and tragedies from the present emerge, they must decide if what they have is worth fighting for.

I waited for this book like my life depended on it 😅. When I finally got my copy of A Forever Kind of Love, I devoured all 500+ pages in one sitting and then reread it twice more. That’s how good it was.
Adesuwa is definately the GOAT of slow burn romance. Her characters are so real you forget they are fictional. Nonso’s pain and tenderness made my heart ache, and Zinna? Ride-or-die perfection.
This story is about old wounds, new sparks, and second chances at forever. A beautiful conclusion to the Malomo High Reunion Series.
