Pelu Awofeso is an award-winning travel writer, author and researcher. His articles have appeared in many publications, including Sunday Mirror; Africa in Words, Travel Intelligence, The Sowetan and Foreign Policy, among others. Recently, he’s been commissioned by Lonely Planet to write a series of stories on Destination Lagos. He is the author of five travel books, including Tour of Duty, Nigerian Festivals; White Lagos and A Place Called Peace. 9 Degrees North is his latest book.
