5 Years: 10 Lessons Life Taught Me

Fresh from the university in 2015, I realised that my family were desperately hoping that I would land a high-paying job. Instead, I decided to commit myself to do development work. Oblivious of what its future would be, I stayed focused. During the process of becoming, I learned, cried, smiled and had my ups and downs. 10 valuable life lessons learnt during this period never leave me to date and I hope to share them with you in this book, “5 Years: 10 Lessons Life Taught Me.” It is a book that deploys true-life experiences to help you navigate your way through life, stay committed to the processes involved in your becoming and equip you for sharing your life lessons with the world someday.

If this book was released in the year 2019/2020….. I’m so sure I would have cried because it would be reading through some of my experiences as I was at a very low point and was doing all I could to stay aloof of depression…….. and I would wipe my tears at some point knowing that I am truly a process…………
Even now, that I feel sane in my space and doing my best to thrive….. This book gave me goosebumps, knowing that those moments were meant to happen and as long as my “Why” is strong and logical, I will always triumph…
5 Years:10 lessons life taught me: Indeed are worthy lessons for one to learn from, reflect upon and ultimately Grow!!!
Cheers to more DREAMS AND IMPACT

Hammed is an excellent storyteller! I often imagine what goes through his mind when he writes or prepares to speak! I will absolutely recommend this book to everyone, especially anyone at a stage where they are trying to “figure things out.”
It is very obvious Hammed has poured his heart into this work!
5 Years: 10 Lessons Life Taught Me is a book that is relevant for all times and seasons!

This book is everything a young creative, changemaker, and young professional needs to kick-start their journey or sustain the one they are in. This book had me laughing out loud, crying , reflecting on my journey and projecting into the future.
It is vulnerable, practical, real and will leave you excited for your processes and future!
