About the Author

Engr. Charles Osezua, Nigeria’s foremost Gas Engineer and a champion of Nigeria’s gas utilisation agenda holds a B.Sc. in Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1979 and an M.Sc. in Gas Engineering with a split Minor in Business Administration and International Law in 1981.
With over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, he has advised on technical and policy issues at the highest levels of government and the industry. He served as Special Assistant to the Head of State on oil and gas matters; Technical Adviser to the Chairman, of the NNPC Board, and a Member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the Board of the Nigerian LNG.
An entrepreneur and a social engineer, Charles Osezua has promoted and founded several businesses and NGOs including the Owel-Linkso Group – a multidisciplinary service provider to the oil and gas, power and construction industries in Nigeria; Gaslink Nigeria Limited – Nigeria’s foremost gas utility company; PNG Gas – a gas development and processing company, building gas infrastructure for gas utilization/monetization in Nigeria.
A one-time Past President of the Nigerian Gas Association (NGA), and a member of the Global Gas Policy Council of the International Gas Union (IGU). He Chairs several Boards including the Pan Atlantic University Foundation (PAUF), owners of the Pan Atlantic University (PAU), and the Lagos Business School (LBS); the Institute for Work and Family Integration (IWFI); Cordros Capital Limited, to mention but a few.
He was honoured by the Federal Government of Nigeria for his professional contributions to the development of the Nigerian oil & gas industry, with the title of the Officer Order of the Niger (OON). He was honoured by the Pope for his services to the Church and humanity with the European title, Rt. Honourable Chevalier of the Order of the Knight of St. Gregory the Great (KSG).

A fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), and a Chartered Engineer (COREN). Charles Osezua is married to Lady Gloria Osezua, and blessed with children and many grandchildren.
