    The weekly working imbalance

    1. It is important to strike a balance between the value one gives to a job and the value added to one’s self. While gaining experience on the job, it is important to continuously build ones relevant skills set, education and improve the quality of ones output.

NB: Always do your best, what you plant now, you will harvest later.

    2. Make a checklist of set targets/goals for the year. Make a conscious periodic review and tick-off list when accomplished.

    3. Engage a coach to help reshape your mindset while identifying your capabilities and limitations. Thereby consciously giving you awareness on how to overcome overlooked obstacles hindering your targetted accomplishment.

    The Paradigm Shift
    1. After the Pandemic, new measures for assessing the commitment, productivity and general performance emerged.  The new KPIs shifted from physical availability to virtual presence (remove working) and promptness to delivery of quality and effective output.

    2. For one to achieve greater heights beyond the status quo,  the best way is to constructively maintain virtual presence in virtual meetings by consistently contributing, accepting change and continuously learn how to adapt to changes in the new world of work.

    3. Birds of a feather flock together. Agile workers flock with agile performancers like them rather than procastinators.
    4. Agile performancers do not entertain emergencies because they work with foresight and get adequately prepared ahead for the task and eliminate or reduce impact of limitations via adaptable solutions.
    5. Adaptability, agility and flexibility are requirements that high flyers needs to embrace change and adapt swiftly.
6.Having and stating reasons why certain decision are made helps the team to understand the sensitivity of their roles in achieving the company’s mission while motivating them to align and produce result associated with the company’s vision.

Last, you have to be swift in planning and open to options and possible alternatives so that you are not caught unaware of overlooked/unforeseen events or challenges.
