Also attached to the book is an audio CD which acts as a practical tool for readers and aspiring communicators.

Bimbo Oloyede is a broadcast professional whose experience spans over 40 years and has dedicated the last 20 years to training broadcasters, executives, diplomats, teachers and corporate clients in presentation, communication and public speaking skills. She began her career in 1975 as an assistant producer in the Drama department of the then NBC/TV, now NTA, and became the first woman to cast the nationwide Network News in 1976. After leaving the NTA, she teamed up with her husband to establish Media International Ltd. – a radio and television Production Company, which has produced several award winning television commercials. In 1999, she founded The Women’s Optimum Development Foundation (WODEF) to address the challenges faced by women and girls in our society, and has produced several jingles and programmes for radio and TV. WODEF celebrated International Women’s Day annually, by hosting The Rare Gems Awards, giving out 100 awards to those who have made worthy contributions to the development of women.
