In this memoir, Rita Eghujovbo holds your hand while she sails with you on a sea of her memories. When she lost her mother at the tender age of four, circumstances set her on a new course, on a path to finding herself. As she shares her story, you will find a girl who became a strong woman while charting life’s waters, through cloudless days and stormy nights.
Her journey to becoming Queen Rita, one of Nigeria’s leading radio presenters, is one filled with laughter and wins, losses and tears, and everything in between.
Now tagged ‘Queen of the Airwaves’, she hopes to use this anecdote-packed book to inspire and excite those who have started or hope to one day embark on a journey to journalism, painting vivid pictures of what the industry entails and requires, while preparing you for a life of meaning.
