Out of the Depths
Out of the Depths are an autobiography, written fiction style with inputs from the author’s family- children, uncle, brother; and friends. It is written in such a way that draws the readers into the life of the author and also entertains them. It subtly passes strong lessons that are very relevant in the world today.
When Kemi meets Fola during her NYSC program in Delta state, both passionate about Christ, the gospel, and the church, they get married and start to build their lives together. Until barely two years into their union when the unthinkable happens: Fola gets involved in a car accident and dies, leaving Kemi with a child and a seven-month-old pregnancy. With the support of her parents, family, and friends, Kemi struggles to rebuild her life and career, and at the same time be a mum to her children, while nursing hopes of finding love.
