Metamorphosis: Tales by a Lawyer Girl
Fresh out of law school, Tolani Balogun hurdles through a job search till she finally settles down at “The Grey Wing Practice”.
Life becomes a maze as a commercial lawyer, with fierce expectations amidst the seeming camaraderie at the law firm. She soon realises that having a global exposure gives the required endorsement to becoming an A-list lawyer in the “Who is Who” black and white community.
Meanwhile, new wigs jostle for fair workplace conditions but reality soon dawns on Tolani when Dozie like Naomi get better recognition at work. She’s willing to take chances as she figures the nexus with her career and the arts but it comes with disappointments, losses and other times discoveries.
