FIGHTING LIONS is a good read, a comprehensive documentation of the Dele Momodu intervention in our current political journey. The author has constructed a fantastic narrative about a significant episode in our country’s democratic journey even if from a personal viewpoint. The material is quite informative, educative and revelatory, particularly those encounters with certain media workers, potential supporters, and leadership of Labour Party. It will anger some people who are mentioned or whose identities are appropriated in the narratives but then that is expected in a script of this nature. It is angry in part, but again, that comes with the nature of the material- the author is a participant in the narrative he has constructed. But overall, this is a very significant contribution to the rare body of literature on our nascent democratic experiment. – Jahman Anikulapo-Oladejo
The author told a gripping story that holds the reader’s attention to the very end. – Molara Wood
From Nigeria’s youngest presidential campaign manager ever, FIGHTING LIONS is the epic tale of an audacious and unconventional Presidental campaign. A must read! – Raymond Dokpesi Jnr.
