A Different Kind Of Broken
A Different Kind of Broken is a poetry collection that explores the broad themes of human existence in relation to identity in the following broad themes: National, aspirational, relational, womanhood and the existence or otherwise of God.
It is at once a personal memoir and an empathetic study of others and how we interplay in our daily existence. It is raw, cathartic and unapologetic.
The author, using apothegms and humorous personal notes within the book, provides a glimpse into her mind, but as one to be courted veils most of the poem in feline mystery – giving the reader the pleasure to discover – both self and poem in a uniquely personal journey.
